PBDS offers extensive theatre facilities, giving you the chance to learn and develop a wide range of practical skills. The programme is led by our very own Technical Manager, who is an experienced theatre professional. All the learning is delivered through work on our fully realised productions.

You will need to be interested in the design and production side of theatre/live events, dedicated, organised and a good timekeeper. All of the practical work and rehearsals take place outside normal working hours. This is great if you are currently in school or working full time and want to think about a new career or a really fun hobby. Being part of the Technical Team at PBDS, you will not only be able to discover the complexities of live lighting and sound but will also be able to learn the ropes of a stage manager and much more.
