Show Information:
At many Kent Drama Festival adjudication nights, it’s quite common for the audience to remain after the performance to hear the adjudicator’s feedback. 🎭

The play finishes.
The cast takes their bows as normal. -
Short pause / reset.
Sometimes there’s a brief moment while the adjudicator comes to the stage. -
Adjudication talk.
The adjudicator gives a spoken critique of the production, usually covering:-
Acting performances

Direction and interpretation
-
Set, lighting, and sound design

Pacing and storytelling
-
Overall impact of the play
-

Educational focus.
The feedback is meant to be constructive and educational, helping the company and audience understand what worked well and what could be improved. -
Usually 10–20 minutes, though it can sometimes run a bit longer depending on the adjudicator
